Spybot has the same thing, and it's free. For a good resource on spyware,
check here:
http://www.io.com/~cwagner/spyware.html

The best thing to do (in my opinion) is

1) Install Spybot:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
2) Set Spybot to update and scan nightly.
3) Run the spybot resident option and run teatimer too
4) Immunize the system from known spyware, you can use spybot or Spyware
blaster (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/spywareblaster.html) to do this.
5) If you don't have WindowsXP SP2 installed, then you can check out what's
being loaded when you start up IE by using the HijackThis tool:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html
6) Turn off ActiveX downloading for the Internet Zone in IE
7) Replace MS's Java VM with Sun's version.

Now all of that won't stop spyware from getting on your system, but it will
make it a lot harder for it to get in. The worst piece of spyware you'll see
is CoolWebSearch. The company that makes it is always trying to keep on step
ahead of the anti-spyware people. If you get infected with it, there's
various sites on the internet that keep up to date information on how to
remove the latest variant.

Ad-aware SE has a utility that runs as a service (before the user logs in)
that protects the machine against spyware. It is similar to the free
version, but this one runs in the background and provides full-time
protection, like a anti-virus tool, instead of on only scanning when the
user runs the tool....

We're using it with great success.
