No idiot proof checklist, but someone on the list was having trouble
with pop3/exch2003/and symantec. See the jamming email thread. Just
something to keep in mind if you do have a problem twith your pop3
clients

Subject: Last Minute Details

Hi Everyone,

As I have mentioned before I am cutting over to my First Exchange
Deployment EVER ( Ex 2003) this weekend.

I have been testing for the last couple of weeks, and everything *
seems* to be running smooth.

One concern I have is SPAM, Obviously I havent had any yet since the MX
records have not yet been redirected here.I purchased and installed
Symantec Mail Security for Exchange to deal with the SPAM ( I hope ).

Any other recommendations /suggestions / best practices to deal with
SPAM?
I must admit that our current web hoster/mail provider HAS BEEN GREAT
when it comes to spam , I have received maybe a dozen spam emails in the
year and half I have been here. I'd hate to come in Monday morning and
have people tell me their boxes are being blasted with spam.

The other detail I was hoping someone could help me with is the Password
issue, for our field offices (Caribbean / Kenya /Tanzania) they only
have
14.4 dialups , so I am going to keep them on POP (they have been using
it, are used to it , and are content with it). Aside from enabling
password changing in OWA or me giving them a password , is there any
other means of them setting there own passwords?

*** If anyone out there has alot of experience in Exchange deployments ,
or has like an "idiot -proof" deployment checklist , or a link to such
a page I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT****

Thanks again to ALL for you help.
