A lot of recipients are going to be annoyed at the extra mail payload, and some will be unable to read the logo anyway. I know I greatly prefer it if email is confined to content, without pretty pictures and fancy stationery; I fight a losing battle with my own users to keep that stuff to a minimum. It's a bandwidth hog.
