We do have a deleted items retention period on in use....but the user deleted the folders....then notified us way after the retention period...so go figure!
How can I get the inbox subfolders onto a .pst file, or attach a client to the mailbox in the store? Remember, I tried running exmerge, but could only see the inbox, and no subfolders.....so when I ran it, it came back screaming that it was to big to open. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Chris Scharff Sent: Monday, October 04, 2004 2:21 PM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: MAILBOX RESTORE You have deleted items retention enabled along with an appropriate retention period right? If so, you've already done far too much work. Search Google for DumpsterAlwaysOn. Otherwise... drag and drop the folders required to PST (a single Unicode PST in Outlook 2003 or multiple PST files in previous versions). And then set the appropriate DIR settings on your Exchange server so that in the future this is a 60 second process. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:bounce- > [EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Posted At: Monday, October 04, 2004 12:16 PM > Posted To: swynk > Conversation: MAILBOX RESTORE > Subject: RE: MAILBOX RESTORE > Importance: High > > Hey Guys, > > Have the following scenario...... > > Have a user that deleted some crucial inbox folders on her mailbox, and > of course now direly needs them back.
