NT 4.0 sp 6 Our PDC is crashing and the Exchange server is supposed to be the BDC. We have to take the PDC down, can the Exchange server be promoted to PDC? Also, it does not appear as though the Exchange server has been acting as BDC, when PDC goes down, no one can log in or access email from exchange server. I did not set any of this up, so I am not sure why it is acting this way. Please help. Thanks.
