I'd try it with Outlook Express, and maybe Eudora, to see if you get the same result. I don't know SendMail, but I do know it's very robust, albeit complicated to manage. Surely there's a way for SendMail to give a permanent error to Outlook and refuse the message in such a way that Outlook won't resend it. If not, maybe SendMail has to be configured to accept the message, and send a bounce back.
