Hi All, we have an Exchange 5.5/NT4 server in a site with a few other servers. The event service for exchange wont start.
The service is configured with the correct startup account (exchange services account) but when you start it, the message is logged in event viewer as below: Event ID 5 An unexpected MAPI error occurred. Error returned was [0x80030005]. I have looked for that error code but cannot find one single thing about what it means. Does anyone have any ideas that might help, and also, how important is the event service for msx5.5?
