Sounds like something you need to ask Double Take. If this is a true "High 
Availability" cluster, Double Take should recognize that the primary server is 
off line and take the appropriate actions. I don't know what actions you are 
required to take. We use a program called Life Keeper by Steeleye for our 
Exchange 5.5 High Availability cluster. When the primary server fails over, the 
backup machine automatically detects that the primary is off line and takes on 
the IP address and server name that Exchange uses and then starts the required 
services. While the primary server is on line, the data drive is mirrored 
constantly from the primary to the backup. From the time that the primary goes 
off line to the time that the backup is on line is less than 10 minutes.
