It really depends on the number of objects and the hardware that you are using for the ADC server. How many objects are being replicated (Public Folders and Mailboxes) and what is the CPU and Memory on the ADC server? Is it dedicated to the ADC process?

I'm about to migrate a third site from 5.5 to 2003, but the users are moving from that child AD domain to their own new domain, on the same level as the root. Should I install a second ADC on the new 2003 server, or use the existing ADC? Here's a picture (sort of): Root | Child Exchange Server Site 1, with one 5.5 and one 2003 server, ADC #1. | Exchange Server Site 2, with one 5.5 and one 2003 server, ADC #1. Domain | Domain Exchange Server Site 3, with one 5.5 server, moving to the new domain here: New with moved Exchange 5.5 server, and new 2003 server, which ADC - #1, or new ADC? Domain Many thanks! ==================================== Larry Wahlers, Systems Specialist Concordia Technologies The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
