Heres the situation. In the beginning phases of a 5.5 to 2003 migration.
An admin accidently deletes an OU containing some mail accounts in AD. Luckily they were resource mailboxes (disabled user accounts). But they are needed. These mailboxes had not been moved to 2003 yet. And i've turned off the ADC CA that kept this OU up to date. Is there anyone to pervent this deletion from trickling down to the 5.5 side? It occured to me that i could modify the CA to 1) be a one way CA which would create the deleted items in AD, or 2) set the CA to not actually delete the 5.5 objects, though what i'd do after that i'm not sure. Thanks in advance. K PS. By the time i'd gotten the phone call, it was already too late to look into an authoritative restore. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
