Well... We recently did this but 5.5 to 2000
What you really need to look at is the DLs and cached addresses in the client outlook. We had problems after the migration of NDRs because users were using the cached info in outlook and not the GAL. Also make sure any mailbox you migrate is well under 2gb. We had a couple of execs that we brought down to 1.8 and thought they were good only to find that because of the single instance store the mailbox on migration went over 2gb. -----Original Message----- From: Steve B [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, December 03, 2004 10:52 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: re: paralell migration net iq exchange migrator will do the same, we are using oprofile for the profile migration....anything else? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Chris Scharff Sent: Friday, December 03, 2004 11:44 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: RE: paralell migration IIRC the Exchange Migrator tool adds an appropriate x400 address to maintain replies. Greenfield migrations are ultimately more satisfying for many organizations, but planning and testing are critical, as are client side considerations (e.g. profile modification). It's been a few years since I played with that tool though. -- Chris Scharff Messaging Services Architect MessageOne [o] 512.652.4500 x244 [m] 512.560.2984 [f] 512.652.4504 > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Michael B.
