mixed mode exchange org. with a domain trust. I have migrated some mailboxes from 5.5 to ex2003. Users are reporting an error "Bookmark not valid" when attempting to access the GAL on a 2003 mailbox server. It is a sporadic occurrence and sometimes it resolves by creating a new profile, but sometimes not. Sometimes closing outlook and re-launching solves the problem. Technet mentions this may occur if you are exchange 2000 and have added a GC role to a server and don't reboot the DC afterwards. ADC is two 1 way connections. So far I have only replicated the system folders from 5.5 to 2003. I'm not seeing anything relevant in the event logs. Some users report no problems at all and some report this error. I can't find a common denominator yet. Anyone ever here of this? Anyone point me in the right direction?
