Maybe they're rejecting your disclaimer.

You're telnetting to the domain? You should be telnetting to the host or
hosts pointed to by the MX record for that domain.

Subject: Problem resolving port 25

Hi everyone,

I am having a weird problem trying to resolve port 25 of one domain (domain
name : geia.org) , when I telnet to this domain on port 25 it resolves and
comes back saying connected to "server01.central.local" and when I try to
send "helo" and "mail from:" commands it tells me my own public IP address.

All other sites (e.g. hotmail.com etc. ) works just fine.

Any clue what could be wrong ? It resolves just fine with tracert or ping .
Mails sent to this domain stays in my exchange que . I spoke with admin of
this domain and they say they are not blocking anything and their mail
server has been working fine receiving e-mails.

It looks like its resolving wrong address when talking on port 25 . In the
message tracking also, it says outbound transfer of message started to
"server01.central.local"
