The Microsoft server swing method is outlined in the following MS

Firstly *thanks* to those who replied.

It's likely I will have a spare server available to use to make the
transition smoother.
It is not a great server though, it only has 2 x 40gb IDE drives, but
this should be ok.

Can anyone piont me to some info on Ed's Swing method ?
I'm assuming I build a new server and install exchange, move the
mailboxes, rebuild the other server and move them back.
Is that right ?
