Yes, I have seen it.  There are a few causes, and probably more mystery
causes.  If you don't replicate the public folder content off of the old
public store, or if you don't properly configure the default public
store
for the mailbox store, you can see this.

Easier than recreating the profile, and with less annoying side effects
such
as lost settings, is to refresh the profile.  Simply delete the last
character of the user's name, and add it back if you want, then click
check
names.  This has usually worked for me.

All,

I'm having a few issues regarding post migration Outlook client
behavior.
Basically we are migrating our Exchange servers to better hardware.  So
after we move the mailboxes from the old server to the new one, we get
users
experiencing significant delays when they try to access the public
folders
when we turn the old server off.  Has anyone seen that behavior before
during a migration?  It seems that re-creating the profile on the
desktop
does the trick.  But we can't expect do that for 1500 users, any
suggestions?
