Then you should have the server connected to the UPS through the signaling
mechanism so that your server shuts itself down in an orderly fashion before
the power runs out.

The eseutil was able to recover the database for me. I noticed that I had a
typo in the command line lol! Thank goodness! Full backup time!

The system power was out longer than the UPS lasted :-/

-1018 errors are typically indicative of a hardware error, and with power
going off suddenly I can see how that could be seen as a hardware issue. If
you don't have an older backup you can go to and replay the log files, I'd
suggest contacting PSS. It's really worth the $249 even if it's just to have
them confirm you will need to take steps which will likely result in data
loss.
