There are some KB articles about this. Back in Exchange 2000 inbound mail
started bouncing if the recipient's account was disabled, but then you could
go into mailbox permissions and add Self back in with Full Mailbox Access
and Associated External Account permissions.

Silly question, but running AD & exchange 2003.  If you disable a users
account will the mailbox still receive mail?  Having conflicting answers
here...
