Front-end/back-end would definitely be a step in the right direction, but I
have something ringing in my head... I think both FE and BE servers should
be in the same domain for FE/BE functionality to work. Correct me if I am
wrong.

If you don't use FE/BE, you can still point your browser to one of the
Exchange servers and it will receive the appropriate URL to the other server
where the mailbox resides and try to open that URL.

Subject: centralized OWA

Hi ,

I am in the process of migrating an Exchange55 organization to Exchange2003.
The migrations is doing site by site, at this moment some sites are
completely Exchange2003 some others a mixture of msx55 and exhcngae2003 and
some others just exchange55. Each Exchange2003 will stay in its AD
childomain, this is a 1 forest, 1 tree, multiple childdomains (each
childdomain has a different netbios domain name) setup.

Is it possible to select 1 of the childdomains and set there a centralized
OWA? is this the fornt-end/back-end config? the goal is that all the users
in the Organization access a unique OWA URL and they can login as
domain\user.

thx in advance for your comments.
