With the way I described it you could send mail to the Contact itself or to the AD user so long as you had all email forwarding to the contact under that user. That is why I was thinking it was a bit convoluted to have 2 ways to get mail to a user.
Check the AD user under the Exchange General Tab, Forwarding options and then select the contact. I think that other users could send mail to either the Contact OR the AD user and it would arrive successfully with Bellsouth. Is your Exchange server receiving any Inbound SMTP? Is your exchange server sending any SMTP? What might be happening is if you have the outlook clients set to Exchange as default then the mail is leaving via the exchaneg server and not via the pop3 account. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
