In one organization I worked for, they rewarded the "employee of the month" by giving him a day off. I figured that was kind of backward--you want your best employees there! Time = money.

Self-aggrandizing?) objectives to the exclusion of others. In other words, everybody should walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
