All of that sounds normal. Be sure that users are logged out of Outlook when you do the mailbox moves or else you can end up with a situation where there's a mailbox on both Exchange 5.5 and 2003 and you'll have to merge the contents.

If I select one of these and check the properties it does state the home server as the new one, so how do i remove them from the 5.5 list ? if I need to at all ? Or do I carry on moving until all over to the new server and then Stop the ADC service and then delete them on the 5.5 server ? and carry on decomissiong of the server ?
