That was my thought as well. Is there any way to configure IIS SMTP to relay rejected messages from Intelligent Message Filtering in Ex2003?

If the connection was directly to the Exchange server, it would get rejected during the remote->local SMTP connection. What are the advantages of using IIS to remote->route SMTP mail to an Exchange 2003 server? Is there a best practice on this?
