I agree that the SpamCure Filter works great. This past week I had over
700 mails and of those only 3 were false positives.

Subject: RE: SPAM blocker?

We are using Sybari AntiGen for both Exchange and SMTP here.

They offer multiple virus scanners, use of RBLs and a roll your own
feature for domains, mail server IPs, Subjects and of course body
filters.

We found that our Exchange server didn't have the horsepower to do this
on its own, so we broke it up and do the major scanning on our primary
SMTP front end (its own box now). And we just use the AntiGen for
Exchange to do a secondary test for viruses on the exchange server
itself. This has been an excellent solution for us as we get emails from
a lot of problem countries and I couldn't use a blanket blocking list
for these areas.

The really neat scanner in there is the "SpamCure" filter. I can submit
emails that are both getting thru that are spam and also
false-positives. The roll-you-own allows me to fine tune everything and
add domain names into the body filter so I can stop outbreaks until
everything catches up.

Oh, it also allows control of file attachments. We currently block file
attachments and send announcements on to our users that there is a file
being held back and they need to contact someone in IS to get it
forwarded on to them. Keeps the newest viruses at bay until the def.
Files catch up.
