Then it seems you have an excellent case for folks manually backing up their Exchange data before syncing a new device. I do it, and teach my clients to do it, also. Even just exporting everything in the mailbox to a local backup.pst file is often enough insurance to guard against temporary data loss.
Since I got my new Smartphone (mentioned in another thread here), I've lost all my Outlook notes, a few contacts and appointments, gotten duplicates of everything, had old completed tasks show up as not completed, etc. Being able to blow away the whole mess and re-import it all again has been very helpful. But, in your case of course, the horse has already left the barn, so to speak, so locking the gate now is kinda too little too late. Might be time to restore to recovery storage group and extract mailbox data. Especially if you charge extra $$ for such restores. -- Larry Wahlers Concordia Technologies The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Nikki Peterson - EGOVX > Sent: Monday, March 14, 2005 3:15 PM > To: Exchange Discussions > Subject: RE: Restoring Calendar and Contacts > > Seems to me they just getted "sucked" off the server.
