Couldn't you use the Active Directory Migration Tool if you have a two-way trust created?

That is basically what I am doing. I am moving an Exchange 2000 domain called CNS, to a new Exchange 2003 install in a domain called LTP. There really aren't that many accounts, so I will probably do it by hand, the FAQ (http://www.swinc.com/images/exch_faq_k2.gif) which I mentioned seems a bit too overly complex, and like I said as there aren't many accounts, I thought I could do it an easier way. My idea is to first move the accounts--if worse comes to worse I can put these in by hand--but I've heard there is a way to export accounts and then reimport--does anyone know where I might find this utility? The second part would be to exmerge the mailboxes to PST's and then pull them in on the new domain--again, not too many accounts, should be painless. I think it is kind of dumb that I can't somehow get my CNS domain (the OLD domain) to show up in either Active Directory Users and Computers or Exchange System Manager along-side my NEW LTP domain--I've established a two-way trust--this doesn't seem to be enough however. Maybe there is an easier way to do this, if so please let me know! Otherwise if you fellows know of this Account export/import tool that would be great to know about also! Thanks for your help, Julian _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
