This may be obvious, but did you change the display name "Exchange General" tab? The Name and the Display name are controlled separately.
-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tim Gowen Sent: Monday, April 04, 2005 2:57 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: Renaming Distribution List I have re-named a distribution list on my Exchange 2003 server (single server), and on the server's copy of the GAL the name has been changed. But in Outlook, when I look at the GAL the old name still shows, and when I type the new name it resolves to the old name. I have checked that there are no RUS errors. The SMTP address for the DL has been changed and that works. So, short of rebooting the server, I'm at a loss. Can anyone help?
