Umm right... I don't strip ZIP's But I do strip like Martin's List of Danger plus some other's
Problem I find is that the AV - Content filters (in my Case trend Scanmmail + MF)..while they will look "in to" the ZIP for say a virus... Scan the files contained in the ZIP..your DOC, XLS, EXE's.... Which is well and good To me if you say set the Content filter for no EXE's (your policy) why not just strip the ZIP file out..period Since in my case my policy is no EXE's..the content filter is going "in to" the Zip it knows what's in there My policy is no EXE's strip the puppy..gone...
