You ought to straighten out your recipient policies so that they automatically get the addresses they ought to get.
The RUS isn't supposed to do what you're saying is going on. Do you have some other process going on that updates e-mail addresses? Help Desk is complaining that when they add a mailbox and the SMTP addresses we need, overnight the SMTP addresses simply disappear, even when they uncheck the box "Automatically update e-mail addresses based on recipient policy." They had to do this because for 80% of our users, the recipient policy I have in effect adds an lcms.org address and a server.lcms.org email address (so I can forward from my smarthost) to every mailbox. But, some of our recipients are not lcms.org - they are lfnd.org, or lhm.org, or some other org. We manually add those, but apparently they are disappearing anyway. Thanks in advance for any ideas you have. -- Larry Wahlers Concordia Technologies The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
