Unless you have very few users, you should be thinking along the lines of separate physical volumes along the lines of: C: RAID-1 OS, Exchange binaries (partition this into two if you want) D: RAID-1 Exchange logs E: RAID-5 or RAID-0+1 Exchange databases Replicate D: and E: for each storage group. If you have a SAN, the rules may be different.
