Okay I've found the /t switch to ensure the temporary files are created on drive with enough space i.e. a mapped share on my Win 2000 server.
So I assume I merely shut down all Exchange Server services and then run say eseutil.exe /d /ispriv /tI:\ExchTemp\priv.edb I've also noted from http://support/microsoft.com/kb/255035/ that I have to move all the old log files. Which ones do I need to remove? Is it just any .log files in mdbdata i.e. edb03Cxx.log, res1.log, res2.log ? One final question. Any estimates on how long a 10gb priv.edb may take? From what I've read it could take about 5 hours. Sound about right? I assume once this is completed it's then a good idea to run isinteg -PRI -t I:\ExchTemp -test alltests to run a check upon it. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
