We've had a couple problems where the Exchange 5.5 log file will get "eaten"
by our Antivirus or something and the mail server will crash shortly after.
Each time this has happened, my boss has fixed it, but now he's leaving and
I will be responsible for fixing it. I know part of the solution to fixing
it is to run eseutil, but I'm told that there is another app you have to run
and you have to run it and eseutil in the correct order with the correct
switches. I'm hoping someone here will either point me to a FAQ or provide
me with instructions on how to fix this next time it happens. For the
record, we're running some commercial undelete software that will hopefully
allow us to recover the log file when it gets eaten, but in case it doesn't
work, I'd really appreciate some of the more knowledgeable people here
helping me out... My boss doesn't recall exactly what he had to do or where
he found the instructions, but he said he found a website out there. I'm
hoping someone on this list will know what website he's talking about!
        Thanks
        John
