so here's a question: If I have a DB that was originally on server1 that I need to restore, but I want to restore it to a recovery group on server2, is this possible. I don't need to mount the DB, I just need exmerge to access it to export the contents of a few mailboxes.
Why am I pointing it to another server? crappy backup/restore product dismounts the databases on the storage group when it restores a DB so I have to do it to a server with no users on it.
