Found this in my copy of Exchange and Outlook update that I just received:

"When Exchange 2003 SP2 ships, the standard edition's storage limit will
increase from 16GB to 75GB. I'm happy that Microsoft has finally (if
belatedly) realized that a 16GB store size limit is far too small, and I
commend the Exchange team for making this free improvement in SP2."
