Try right-clicking "Public Folders" in Exchange System Manager and
connecting to the server again.

Subject: Rebuild loses a couple of public folders

Rebuilt the operating system and Exchange on my one & only Exchange
(E2K3-SP1) box this last week. Stores and logs remained intact. Had only a
half-dozen public folders.  A, B, C and D are fine.  E and F (established by
someone else, not me) seem to have gone away - the listing is still there in
Outlook but clicking on them gets "Unable to display the folder...Either the
Exchange Server computer servicing this public folder is down or the public
folder has not been replicated to this site." Also, clicking on the missing
folders puts an address bar up similar to:
outlook:EF000000198262C0AA6611CD9BC800AA002FC45A020002000500000000000021
.

Looking in Exchange Manager shows no listing under "Public Folder Instances"
or "Public Folders."  I find no mention of them in any of the normal places;
where could they have gone? Searched the archives & technet, haven't found
anything specifically on point yet.

Thanks,

David
