This is what I found out about Microsoft's support plan for Exchange 5.5 after 1 Jan. 2006. 1. Be a member of either Premier Essential support plan ( starting cost $8500 ) or Premier Support plan starting cost $52,000. 2. Have a AD migration plan approved by Microsoft. 3. $200,000 additional cost (year support)plus a $40,000 per hot fix cost. So probably at a minimum you are talking $250,000.
