You need to design the message that you send out to reflect the REPLY to using the SMTP of the Public folder (If you are not sending as the pf):
- Open a new msg - Select OPTIONS - Select HAVE REPLIES SENT TO... On your error "Can't save sent items to a public folder"... Maybe look at the permissions, do you have the PF (public folder) set to give CREATE to both ANONYMOUS and DEFAULT? The from can still be from you. If I could reply from a public folder, and have the response saved to the folder, that would be perfect. However, OL2003 doesn't let me do that.
