The addresses not being resolved should just indicate that the sender
was not authenticated -- could be nice bit of info to have...

There's a setting called "ResolveP2" that can control what you are
seeing.
In some cases, this is considered useful because it shows that mail is
coming from the Internet rather than from inside, so some administrators
specifically configure this. Search the Knowledge Base for "ResolveP2"
for more information. However, that still may not have anything to do
with what you're seeing. In either case, you should open the message
and look at the Internet headers and see what the "To" header says. The
answer might jump out at you.

Problem: Our CIO is having a strange issue in Outlook. When people
address emails to him, his name shows up as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".
Normally, it would show up as "last, first".

Troubleshooting: It seems to be sporatic. I've tried sending to him
from OWA, from my blackberry, typing his name in as
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]", and picking from the gal, but it shows up fine.
Sometimes it shows up this way when coming from a mac user, sometimes
from pc users. I've tried sending in HTML format and Rich Text, but it
doesn't seem to matter.

I realize that this isn't a true problem, just a nuisance, but it's the
CIO.
I've been searching for the answer for days and just don't seem to be
able to find it. Has anyone else seen this at all?
