We did it with just the ADMT and some pre-planning. We migrated from a multi-master to a single forest, domain model. About a thousand users accounts, and about a thousand computers and servers. We didn't have any problems at all. Tested it for a while in our lab, then ran the live change. I am glad we didn't spend the money for the 3rd party utilities. Have fun.
