Ed answered your questions. More than once.

And, he "taught you to fish" by referring you to the relevant
documentation and RFCs.

I think he was extremely gentle with you. If you consider what he said a
"flame" then you've got a lot left to experience.

I don't understand your anonymity comment at all. Ed posts using his
real name.

Not only did Ed answer your question, so did Chris Scharff. Both of them
told you clearly, accurately, and precisely the answer to your question.
Just because you don't like the answers -- that doesn't make them
"non-productive".

The trolling comment makes excellent sense -- it is a reasonable
presumption that if you refuse to acknowledge the answers of two people
who know whereof they speak, then you must be asking repeatedly in order
to foment discord.

Again, nothing short of what I expect from you Ed. Do you feel bigger
now?
How deep is your arrogance?

A simple question to a simple process...and Yes, POP is ugly, and should
be banned, but not everyone can afford the luxury of total MAPI. In the
real world, sometimes you have to do what you do not want to do. Why
doesn't Microsoft remove POP access?

All I was hoping for was someone who may have experienced this and found
an alternative solution. I did not expect to be ridculed in a public
forum.
The initial answers I got were non-productive and I asked for
elaboration.

As far as trolling on this list..I have been watching this for lists for
months and for the first thing I ask about, I am flamed for asking....

Forgive my ignorance...but hiding in anonimouty and arrogance is not
very professional is it? Or do you sit and wait for something like this
to flex your depth and knowledge...and try to humiliate someone? Exactly
what is bothering you Ed?

I am also sorry my expectations are so high, it makes it more
disappointing when I see someone I respect so immature and
unprofessional.

Terry
