I have encountered this issue many times although I have never been able to figure out why.
When you right click on a file and select send to "mail recipient", the file is supposed to be "injected" into a new blank email. This often produces strange results. I have seen the email open with no attachment in it. I have seen only an error message appear, I have seen an email open with the attachment in it but you are unable to send it (clicking on send does nothing.) To correct this problem, what I have done is tell users to open a new email, and insert the file from the insert menu. This always works. Question is, why does not "right clicking" on the file and selecting "send to mail recipient" work every time? I have seen this on many machines, variety of os's and different users, big files and small files. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
