That way you simply restore the db you need, run the eseutil /cc and extract the data using Exmerge. Works smooth as silk. We have started to get more requests from our attorney for e-mail's that are on backup tapes dating back a year or two .... all my backups are full online backups ... exchange 2003/sp1 environment ... Unfortunately, I have moved mailboxes into new stores and new storage groups with new names ... which slightly complicates recovery storage groups (as I have read and seem to understand ??? ..)
