You aren't holding your mouth right?

More seriously, I can't test it from home. I'll look at it when I get
back in the office. As I said, I generally use adfind, and it works fine
from my workstation.

Digging up a really old post here. This method works from the Exchange
server, but not from my own computer. I am an Exchange admin with the
tools installed on my PC (E2003). Any reason this doesn't work from my
computer?

Oh, I didn't say that. There isn't an easy way to list ALL the email
addresses.

Personally, if I just wanted one, I'd still use adfind. But that's just
me.

Open Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft Exchange -> ADU&C

Click on the Search button on the toolbar (the book with a magnifying
glass)

In the "Find" box, choose "Custom Search"

Click on the Advanced tab

Enter the following LDAP query: proxyaddresses=smtp:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

(substituting as appropriate, of course)

Ensure that the "In" box is "Entire Directory"

Click Find Now.

Much thanks!

Imagine the face of my manager when I told him there is no simple way to
find an email adres in AD/Exchange... Sheer unbelief.
