When we last did a domain migration from SBS2000 to SBS2003 we used ExMerge to move the Exchange data.
After the new domain had been running for a few weeks it wwas noticed that archiving of mail items didn't work properly, the cause it seems is decribed here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;295657 " When you archive a message folder, Microsoft Outlook determines the message age from the sent date and time, the received date and time, or from the message's modified date and time, whichever is the later." It seems when mail is imported into the store using ExMerge the modified date is the date of import. Can this be overridden? Is there a way to 'patch' Outlook to ignore the 'modified' date for the purposes of archiving?
