Here is my breakdown so far and I believe this is best practice. My questions are below. C: 18GB HW R1 128kb stripe, 4kb block size OS / APPS (Non Exchange) NOTE Less than 7GB free on this partition. D: 36GB HW R1 64kb stripe, 4kb block size Mailbox/Public Folder Store transaction logs E: 340GB HW R5 64kb stripe, 4kb block size Mailbox/Public Folder Store databases 1. Where should I put inetpub? 2. Where should I put exchange binaries (all the exchange directories/files minus the transaction logs and databases which are the D:, E: respectively)? 3. Where should I put my GFI antivirus/antispam? Performance and availablity reasons or explanations as to your suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you and seasons greetings! _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
