Greetings!

old server: 1 Windows 2000 Standard SP4 server w/ Exchange 2000 SP3
new server: 1 Windows 2003 Standard SP1 server w/ Exchange 2003 SP1

Everything installed fine.

Before moving a test mailbox, I logged into OWA from the 2003 box
(http://localhost/exchange), and it promptly redirected to the 2000 box
and logged in fine. Life was good.

I then moved the mailbox. When I went to OWA (on the 2k3 box) again, the
login box said it was connecting to the 2k box. I entered the
credentials, and it immediately prompted for them again, but it now said
it was connecting to the 2k3 box. I entered the credentials again, and
it logged in without further issue. I did notice that if I logged in
using http://servername/exchange instead of http://localhost/exchange,
that it logged in correctly the first time. Only when I used
http://localhost/exchange did I get prompted for credentials again. SSL
& FBA aren't setup yet, but will be.

I realize that this problem is probably because I had already logged
onto the mailbox before I moved it. But I'm curious to know if this goes
away, or did I overlook something? I just want to make sure things are
working fine before tackling things on the production network.
