I'm trying to work out an issue related to our RUS policy. I am responsible for an Admin group under a very large Exchange organization that is still in Mixed mode. We have need of a unique set of addresses and have setup a RUS policy to do that mimics the old Exchange 5.5 "(&(&(mailNickname=*)(legacyExchangeDN=/O=My Org/OU=MyDept/cn=Recipients/cn=*)))" in a custom search LDAP format.
My concern is that when the Org finally turns off 5.5 mode will the legacyExchangeDN still be created on new accounts as it is now? Also the legacyExchangeDN doesn't truly capture all the necessary users as I have inherited responsibility for 47 users with a different legacyExchangeDN. Their accounts have been moved to my domain, but the mailboxes can't be moved directly as not all 5.5 servers have the proper patches... I can accomplish the desired query in ADUC by choosing "Mail Recipients" and checking all the boxes with the "In" focused on my subdomain. Unfortunately, there is no "In" feature using the query tool in Exchange System Manager. I have tried to find a custom LDAP query, but can't find a way to limit the scope to a specific baseDN. It may simply be a syntax error on my part. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! _____ Bob Reasoner _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Exchange List admin: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
