OK I know this is probably the least favourable way of doing this but...

I have a small site that has a single server running Windows 2000 SP4
(DC/GC) and Exchange 5.5 SP5. It's a site within our organization.

I'm in the middle or migrating our main site to 2003. So far so good.

Has anyone any experience of doing an in-place upgrade from Exchange 5.5
to 2000, then upgrading the box to Windows 2003 Server, then upgrading
Exchange to 2003?

Frankly it sounds like a disaster waiting to happen, but I'm trying to
evaluate all the options.

cheers,
Paul
