Check out ServU FTP server. I think you will really like it. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Paul Hutchings Sent: Saturday, March 04, 2006 5:25 AM To: Exchange Discussions Subject: OT: FTP Server Software
I need to move an FTP site that runs on an IIS 5.0 box to a new server. I'm not a huge fan of the IIS FTP service, ok it's free but (feel free to tell me I'm being irrational) I never liked the idea of having to create Windows user accounts just to let someone use FTP, plus I don't like the fact that by default users aren't "locked" inside their home directory. I wondered if anyone had any other suggestions? Does anyone use, for example, Serv-U? cheers, Paul -- Paul Hutchings Network Administrator, MIRA Ltd.
