What does "isn't too heavily loaded" mean? How many users? What resources
are available on the server?

If I had no other choices for hardware, I might be inclined to run SQL on a
VM to isolate it from Exchange.

Subject: Exchange 2003 Standard and SQL Server 2005 on same server?

I have a server that isn't too heavily loaded that is currently running
Exchange Server 2003 and LCS. I would like to install SQL Server 2005 on the
system to run some CRM and reporting applications. If the hardware is
powerful enough, is there any reason not to install SQL Server 2005 and
Exchange/LCS 2003 on the same server?

Thanks,
Erick
