I'm getting ready to do a server upgrade from 2000 to 2003 this weekend.
I have been trying to run Exmerge to dump the mailboxes to PST for a
worst case situation. I can not get exmerge to work for the life of
me. It works ok on my account but when I try it on any other mail box
this is what the log says.
I assume that it's a permission issue. I created an security group
called Exmerge and added my account to the group. I added the exmerge
group in the security tab on the mailbox store and granted the exmerge
group full access. The only other thing that I can think of is if I go
to the advanced menu on the security tab there are a bunch on deny's
settup on the the various accounts like domain admins and such for send
and receive. Could that be overriding any permissions I try to setup.
